As opposed to our soft, polished and wrinkle-free skin at birth, the skin begins to lose its elasticity as we age, although we can’t see it happening. As we grow, the appearance of wrinkles, laugh lines and the like are quite hard to miss as they become more and more noticeable, leaving us with no choice other than to use anti-ageing creams and other facial treatments.

Nowadays, it seems that everyone needs to have gone through some form of facial lift surgery to be classified as beautiful, and these treatments have become beauty fundamentals. But unknown to many people, you can still get a so-called facial lift in a more natural way, which is definitely better for you. Here’s how you can achieve this!

Making a face as if you want to whistle, close your eyes while forcing your lips forward. Behave like you are trying to catch something with your lips. Make sure you hold this position for about 15 seconds before going on to the next step.

Open your eyes wide as if you are surprised to see something and make sure your eyebrows are raised. After this, open your mouth wide, almost trying to pull every inch of your face away from your mouth. Stretch till you can stretch no more. Hold this position for about 20 seconds. Alternate several times between this and the first exercise above.

Closing your mouth and clenching your teeth, try to pull down the corners of your lips with a bit of force. Make sure all the muscles in your neck are tight. Try to lift your chin muscle upward while keeping your head in the same position. Repeat this step slowly four times and then quickly for about eight times. This is a stand alone step. You do not have to do it alongside the 2 steps above.
Repeat all of these exercises a second time

Breast implants come in a variety of shapes, surface textures, and sizes. Depending on the desired shape you wish to achieve, you and your plastic surgeon may choose a round or contoured breast implant shape. Generally, the larger you want your cup size, the larger the breast implant the plastic surgeon will consider (measured in cubic centimeters, or cc’s). All currently available Allergan Medical breast implants have a self sealing (diaphragm) valve that is used for filling the device. Depending on the style, the filling valve may be located on the front (anterior) or the back (posterior) of the breast implant.

You should be aware that contoured breast implants that are placed submuscularly (under your chest muscle) may assume a round shape after implantation. Your plastic surgeon will also evaluate your existing tissue to determine if you have enough to cover the breast implant. If you desire a breast implant size too large for your tissue, the plastic surgeon may warn you that breast implant edges may be apparent or visible post-operatively. You may even risk surgical complications. Also, excessively large breast implants may speed up the effects of gravity and result in earlier droop or sag.

Textured surface implants were designed to reduce the chance of capsular contracture (a hardening of the breast) Some information in the literature with small numbers of patients suggests that surface texturing reduces the chance of severe capsular contracture, but clinical information from studies of a large number of women with breast implants shows no difference in the likelihood of developing capsular contracture with textured breast implants compared to smooth surfaced breast implant.

When considering any type of plastic surgery, choosing the most qualified professional that you can find is always the best option, however, finding that doctor takes a little bit of effort. In every field of medicine there are specialists and in the field of cosmetic surgery there is no difference. One doctor could specialize in nothing but breast augmentations, while another may specialize in tummy tucks. Finding the right one for your surgery only requires knowing what procedure that you want and asking questions.

Of course you could just pick up the local yellow pages and start calling everyone in the list, or if you want to be sure that the qualifications of a surgeon are not just one sided, you can go to the American Society of Plastic Surgery’s website and do a search. You can look at various plastic surgeons that are located in your general area and also see the information regarding their qualifications and specializations.

Another way for you to locate a qualified plastic surgeon is by simply asking your family doctor. It is always recommended that you consult your physician before deciding on a plastic surgery procedure, during this consultation is the perfect time to ask your physician for a reference to a qualified surgeon.

Maybe you are having work done because one of your friends had some recently, you can simply talk with your friends. For many people, the decision of undergoing a procedure usually entails the consultations of your friends anyway. Chances are one of your friends may know of a qualified surgeon. It is all about networking. “A friend of a friend of a friend had this done last year and looks great now, they went to such and such to have the procedure done.” That is all it takes, no you have a quality reference to a surgeon and all you have to do is check on his or her credentials and qualifications.

There are literally thousands of different ways to find a qualified surgeon, but remember that the best way is from word of mouth. Regardless as to whether a person had a good or bad experience with plastic surgery, they are always willing to give up a name. If it was a bad experience they will tell you so, and if it was a good one then they will encourage you to speak with that surgeon.
